STEP 1

Schedule a Free Consultation

Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute video visit for introductions, a chance to ask questions, and to decide if I am the right therapist for you.

It’s a simple, no-pressure way to connect and make sure you feel comfortable before starting therapy. This allows you to briefly discuss your needs and determine whether my approach aligns with what you’re looking for and if working together feels like the right next step.

_
STEP 2

Next Steps

If you decide to move forward, you’ll receive access to a secure client portal where you can complete intake forms and provide insurance information.

If you plan to use insurance, I will verify your benefits, estimate your out-of-pocket costs, and share that information with you before your first session. Then we’ll schedule your first appointment at a time that works best for you.

_
STEP 3

Your First Appointment

Your first session is a gentle, welcoming space to begin your therapy journey and an opportunity for me to get to know you.

Whether we meet in-person or virtually, we’ll discuss your primary concerns, explore goals, and make some plans for working together. As a trauma-informed therapist, I prioritize your comfort and emotional safety—so we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Healing starts with one small, brave step.

The stories we live by shape our experience of the world.
Michael White (Narrative Therapy Founder)
Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.
Bessel Van Der Kolk (Trauma Researcher and Author)
Recovery can take place only within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation.
Judith Herman, MD (Author of Trauma and Recovery)
The more you try to control your anxiety, the more anxious you become. Acceptance opens the door to freedom.

The stories we tell about ourselves have the power to limit or liberate us.
